| Welcome to our Family Site! Updated 09/08/11 Thanks for visiting! We live in the Chicago area of Illinois. Alfred is a computer programmer at Northrop Grumman, a defense contractor. Cyndi is ruler of our estate, which currently consists primarily of our eleven children: Nathan, Ruth, Elisabeth, Peter, Mary, Esther, Susanna Joy, Timothy, Rachel, Joanna, and Benjamin. We are in fellowship with the believers who gather in the New Lenox Gospel Hall (commonly known as Plymouth Brethren), which is a great privilege. We home school through the Advanced Training Institute of America (ATI), a program which we deeply appreciate. Jesus Christ is Lord of all . . . and of our home! |

I have done some on-line research into the origin of the family name. In the process I have come in contact with Corduans all over the world. For a page of information, pictures, and links related to CORDUAN, see Corduan Family History .

Alfred's Personal Ponderings
God bless you!

There is an older video of us singing "Count the Cost" [the venue was a "Music Night" with fellow home schoolers. This searching song was written by a young lady, Deborah Marshall (later Wells), of the singing John Marshall Family, who later left comforts and family to be a missionary in New Guinea] . . . the file is quite large [19MB] so prepare to be patient if you click. Audio only of the family singing "Saved by Grace". We are absolutely not professionals! But we do very much enjoy singing as a family.
A short video of Susanna doing what she does best, sliding down the banister. A slide show [large file - 16MB] of a day trip to Death Valley we took in early 2006.
